TRUJILLO

TRUJILLO, Christopher Columbus landed in Trujillo in 1502, making it one of the oldest cities in Honduras. Located next to the largest and deepest natural bay in Central América, Trujillo became an important port during Colonial times.

The beaches of Trujillo are some of the best in the north coast of Honduras.
