The National Port Authority operates five
ports in Honduras:
- Puerto Cortés, located 64 km
north of San Pedro Sula, is the best equipped port in
Central America, offering modern roll-on / roll-off container
services 24 hours a day, as well as 1,220 meters of storage
area and capacity for 10 ships at once.
• La Ceiba, Atlántida.
• Puerto Castilla in Trujillo, Colón.
• Puerto Henecán in San Lorenzo, Valle
a Pacific port with a depth of 8.54 meters, 297.07
meters of pier and three warehouses.
Ferry
Galaxy
EThe
Galaxy Ferry can accommodate up to 350 passengers in its
Regular Class and Private Class areas combined. Both areas
offer air conditioning, TV and a covered deck for passengers
who wish to enjoy the view on deck. The Private Class area,
with capacity for 32, also offers Pullman seats and a snack.
Private Class travelers share the capitain’s cabin.
